Stacked Menu System
I'd like to get your thoughts on BYU's stacked, three tier menu system (activated by mouseovers). I like the favorites and weekly calendar at the bottom.

I just went and played with it. I expected it to be super twitchy and awful to use but it seemed ok.
One issue with it is that by compressing the nav structure like this you reduce the scent an awful lot. There is no room to give a description of anything and you have to actively search with your mouse as opposed to just glancing around the screen to find what you are looking for.

In general I thought it was ok, but I'm still having trouble seeing where I would go for sports, and why are arts and museums under faculty and staff? Those issues are exactly the problem with stacked menus, if you don't spend a lot of time getting that right people are lost.
