This is a pretty cool and the subcategories work OK here in the flooring section. Unfortunately all the other sections are ambiguous. Try furniture and you get subcategories like "Live", "Play", "Organize", Accent" among others. All these mean living room to me.

Yes, some of the word choice was frustrating. In addition, I had trouble with some of the features of the actual design tool when I tried it.
However, I liked the overall tabs, and the easy way of selecting them and moving them into the Favorites tab. It's nice to be able to see that much info without having to navigate far away. I'm expecting the next version to have some organization tools within the tabs.
