Hotels.com's Faux Input Controls?
I went to change the number of adults and children staying in the hotel room. I expected just to type a number into the faux input field, but instead was presented with this widget. I reoriented rather quickly, but I much prefer Expedia's solution.
I actually got no results unless I did put in their ages, but nothing told me that was the reason. Again Expedia clearly explained this. I still think I should be able to book a room without entering the ages of my children.
Hotel.com's widget also covers the go button so I have dismiss it in order to click the button underneath, that's if I remember it was there in the first place.

I ran into this a few months ago and it drove me crazy.
